Responsibilities:
Accurately, and within time standard requirements, process intermediate-level financial and non-financial customer transactions. Transaction examples include withdrawals, transfers, and loans. Processing requires learning and utilizing three different transaction administration systems (Vantage, Paris, and TRAC), a separate system for processing manual checks and wires; and a notes and logging system (Clarify), used to create correspondence letters. including: Handles inquiries regarding policy. Effective communicates with external customers via telephone or written correspondence (e-mail, fax; hard copy). Processes manual checks and wire requests. Prepares checks for overnight delivery using the online express system. Solid understanding of department policies and procedures as they pertain to processing transactions. Proven knowledge to process corrective action on accounts. Can speak to topics such as contract provisions; company procedures; requirements for account changes. Completes other projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
High school education or equivalent. Course work beyond that level preferred. Solid knowledge of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, knowledge of investment product specifics; and policies and procedures pertaining to the area of business. Strong organizational skills. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure within established timeframes. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to learn several administration systems. Proven ability to learn quickly and follow procedures using multiple PC and mainframe applications. Consistent recording of written documentation for all calls and account processing. Demonstrated ability to tactfully communicate with customers via the telephone. Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation skills.
