Senior Telecommunication Analyst

Responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Provide vision, leadership and technical support to team members in the services and project deployment of a high-performance communication support team committed to the success of the R+L Carriers’ organization and its stakeholders. Recommends training and certification plans of team members and end-users for strategic development.
Assists with development and execution of technology business plans from a service support resource and technology trends perspective. Assist with the development of tactical support and implementation plans for demo evaluations, and strategic planning opportunities.Qualifies, prioritizes and responds to service requests from all R+L Carriers’ staff and stakeholders. Performs system administration and field installation as required to facilitate MACs and new service request.Travel to all R+L Carriers’ and affiliate sites as necessary. Travel dictated by project/service requirements.Be available and perform call-out duties on a rotation basis with IMT-Comms technical staff.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements (including any relevant education, knowledge and experience):Seven or more years field experience in a lead PBX and adjunct equipment administrator role.Three years or more in direct support, administration and installation to the Avaya Definity, Communication Manager, IP Office, Audix, and Modular Messaging platforms. Nortel Option 11C, 61C, Call Pilot, and Meridian Mail considered a plus.Industry knowledge of “Best in Class” call/contact centers and diverse telephony applications.Familiarity with telecommunications-related technology: VoIP, IVR, Unified Messaging, Wireless LAN, PBX/Key Systems, ACD/CMS, Broadband Network Services, SONET Fiber Deployment, WAN/LAN Infrastructure, MPLS, 800 Network Provisioning.Excellent inter-personal communication skills.Ability to oversee vendor relationship and manage transitional services between providers.Ability to work with all levels of management and create/present proposed solutions.Problem solving by analyzing situations, visualizing next step and implementing.Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent), or minimum 10 years experience in telecommunication and data industry, with industry certification as necessary to perform job duties.Avaya Definity, Communication Manager, IP Office, and ACD/CMS certifications for administration and implementation are advantageous. Cisco CCNA or higher certifications considered a plus.
