Senior SAP Basis Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES: SUMMARY


This position requires hands-on SAP Basis administration. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in day to day production support, monitoring, advanced troubleshooting skills, proactive system analysis and standard SAP Basis administration activities. Successful candidates will have experience in multiple SAP release installations and upgrade projects in large scale complex SAP landscape environments.RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and maintenance of SAP applications in a DB2 / zOS environment

SAP Basis performance tuning and management

Research and troubleshooting of advanced problems

Application of SAP Support Packs and OSS notes

Provide first-level support to developers, IT staff and users in all areas of SAP Basis administration.

Participates in move to production activities, SAP upgrades, support package installation and OSS notes implementation.

Part of an On-Call Support (24x7) rotation
QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Five plus years hands-on SAP Basis administration experience -R/3 required (SCM, BW, APO, CRM or Portal experience preferred)

Strong SAP troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

IBM mainframe (zOS/DB2) experience strongly preferred

Self-Motivated, Positive participant to a team environment

Outstanding documentation and written skills
