Senior SAP APO PP/DS Configuration Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES: SUMMARY


This position has the responsibility for the support for the Corporate Model for the Supply Chain Systems. Performs application problem analysis and resolution. This position will require strong technical leadership for the SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) modules and specifically Production Planning/Detail Scheduling (PP/DS). Gathering, documenting and prioritizing business requirements for PP/DS. Configuration and testing of the PP/DS module to meet business requirements. Provide technical leadership and assistance in developing functional specifications for enhancements. Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing. This position will also be responsible for end-user support and assists in training. This position requires a cell-phone and availability during non-business hours in the event of a problem with the application software. Acts as liaison between end-users and technical team to facilitate project completion and resolution of user-issues. Ensures the maximum use of existing system capability. Troubleshoots and develops solutions for system problems. Participates in end-to-end system testing. Assists in developing and documenting Business Requirements, design documents and functional specifications for development activities.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Ability to travel as necessary (30%)QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of Supply Chain / Manufacturing processes REQUIRED

Experience in the configuration SAP-APO PP/DS Module REQUIRED

Experience in supporting an ERP systems preferred

Some experience in Project Management
