The Senior QA Specialist reports to the Development Manager. This position performs various product-testing duties to assure specified guidelines are being followed. The QA Specialist begins corrective action for procedural or processing deficiencies by making sure programs conform to documentation specifications; certifies that products are bug free and stable and works to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements that include the creation and execution of methods and procedures for testing and debugging programs. This position is also responsible for managing supporting documentation of the application. Finally this position is expected to lead less experienced QA or Documentation specialists, report to the Development Manager regarding personnel needs and concerns and perform direct report reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with:
- Automated testing software
- Setting up and executing test plans
- Creating and maintaining software documentation
