Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

This senior level position within the group reports into the Marketing Department's Marketing Communications Director. The primary focus of this position is the creation of marketing materials for our Investor Communications Division products and services in collaboration with the Marketing Communications Director. Responsibilities include the copy writing and creative design of a wide variety of marketing materials to promote ICD products and services. This position also supports the sales team in the development of presentations and acts as project manager on special projects. Responsible for the creation of collateral (brochures, direct mail, advertising [both traditional and web] describing the capabilities of ICD in collaboration with the Marketing Communications Director. Manage/develop the creation of the copy and the overall graphic design of the piece and/or elements. Identify and develop material needed for new services, acquisitions and alliances. Responsible for the creation of content for various marketing collateral-- press releases, web site, email blasts, collateral, newsletter, key presentations and sales documents as assigned by the Marketing Communications Director. Help to ensure that the overall ICD brand and product value propositions are presented correctly and promoted in the best possible light in all client communications. Monitor the keyword engine advertising program. Create copy for press releases as assigned by the Marketing Communications Director, coordinate the approval process for assigned releases. Work with the various sales groups within ICD to promote our services and client relationships. This includes the creation of presentations (both content and design) as assigned by the Marketing Communications Director. The presentation may be used to close a sale, inform at industry conferences, etc. Work with various sales groups within ICD on the development of content for ICD-hosted conferences such as the annual IDS Client Conference and the regional ADP Institutes as assigned by the Marketing Communications Director.
REQUIREMENTS


BA/BS in Marketing Communications or related field is required. Five years experience in Marketing Communications. Strong written and oral communication skills, strong project management skills, excellent computer and graphic design skills, proven creative ability. Self-starter. Works well independently and as a team member. People oriented. Desktop publishing and PowerPoint skills a plus. Experience with electronic media (Google and Yahoo advertising and websites) a plus.
