We are looking for a self-starter to join us and proactively serve and support customers who have purchased our systems and tools. The individual in this role will spend 50-75% of the time visiting our clients throughout the country to provide training on clinical coding software applications. Our Specialist will often be the first UHC person to meet the client face-to-face as they help them get up and running. Classes are 8-hours long and last 3-4 days, usually Tuesday through Thursday.



Responsibilities:
Provide training to large payors (insurance companies) 3-4 days per week on UHC software.
Provide support for a claims editing tool.
Support existing customers of the software to build and maintain strong business relationships.
Search for opportunities to offer additional products to help meet department revenue goals.
Document correspondence and activity.
Troubleshoot client issues.
Identify critical client issues and communicate them to the appropriate staff for resolution/prevention.
Update training manuals and develop curriculum and assessments.
Support clients after training with any questions that may arise
Manage working relationships with clients.
Assist clients with go-live activities and support (on-site or remote).
Present web cast training and demonstrations.
Conduct in-house training if necessary.

Background in the insurance industry as well as training experience is required.


Payer experience is preferred.


Solid customer service experience, knowledge of the claims payment process as well as medical coding will be essential.



Those with strong computer skills, a customer and student focused attitude, and the ability to create a professional, positive first impression on our clients are encouraged to apply. The hired applicant will receive training on UHC systems before going into the field.
