: Seasonal Polo.com Customer Support Rep- Monday-Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm

Reports to: Customer Service ManagerPosition Overview:
Seasonal Polo.com Customer Support Representative- Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 6:00pm (4 hour to 8 hour shifts available.)
Potential for a full time permanent position after the holidays.
Develops customer relationships and helps grow customer loyalty for the Ralph Lauren brands supported on Polo.com and in national advertising. Learns and effectively articulates Polo Ralph Lauren product information.Success Attributes:
Ability to learn and articulate Polo Ralph Lauren products and lifestyle and respond to enquires on the current season of merchandise featured on Polo.com.
Strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment under the direction of the Team Lead.
Professional, flexible and positive team player that is self-directed and self-motivated.
Ability to effectively perform the basic tasks of position using decision-making skills and other resources.
Confidence navigating the Polo.com website, internet, customer support systems, and company supported intranet.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills to handle basic pre-formatted email responses.
Ability to communicate and manage conflict resolution in a professional manner and handle all basic frequently occurring situations regarding order placement, order and return status issues, and current product information.
Regular attendance and the ability to work flexible hours including Holidays as needed.Essential Functions:
Provides follow up solutions to customer issues by following established procedures, process flows and policies.
Communicates important information to the customers on current website features, upcoming promotions, products, retail stores, etc.
Keeps commitments to others.
Analyzes, qualifies, and refers polo.com customers to the proper sales channels based on those needs.
Learns and effectively articulates Polo Ralph Lauren product information.
Maintains a thorough knowledge and skill base for product, operations, policies and procedures, and computerized information systems.
Demonstrates professionalism by creating a positive image for Polo.com.
Completes or performs other duties as assigned.
Exhibits Red Carpet Care qualities in terms of great customer service to both internal and external customers.Qualifications:

At least 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of customer service and shipping terms.
Familiarity with internet and basic search programs.
Familiar with keyboard and basic computer skills - including Windows based programs.
Must be able to see color and pass a colorblindness test.Physical Activity:

Operators: This is a minimum standard for those whose job requires work done at close visual range. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
