Grocery
Bakery
Prepared Foods (Deli)
Specialty (Cheese, Wine, Beer)
Meat
SeafoodPositions report to Store Team Leader, Associate Store Team Leaders, and Coordinator. Provides overall management and supervision of the team, including sub-teams. Responsible, in conjunction with Store Leadership, for Team Member hiring, development, corrective actions, and terminations. Responsible for profitability, expense control (packaging and labor), merchandising, ordering, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned. Complete accountability for all aspects of team operations and perform all duties and responsibilities of team positions.
REQUIREMENTS
The Whole Foods Market Career Development Program seeks individuals with 2 and holidays or more years of supervisory, managerial or leadership experience overseeing 5 or more employees in a retail, food or service industry. A restaurant or grocery/retail background is a huge plus. We are looking for highly motivated and self-directed individuals with an entrepreneur spirit. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership skills and strong communication skills and believe in the Whole Foods philosophy- a culture that thrives on teamwork. Candidates must be willing to travel up to an hour's commute and relocate to stores within the Chicagoland area.
