Sales Associates and Stock Associates

DSW is currently seeking highly motivated Store Associates with proven experience in the retail industry. The ideal candidates are sales driven, strongly customer oriented, possess excellent work records and a commitment to growing with the company. Store Associates perform a variety of customer service related tasks including greeting customers, assisting customers, as well as a complete range of cashiering and stocking functions. Additional responsibilities involve routine organizing of the back room, housekeeping, cleaning, straightening, pricing, and tagging of merchandise.

Stock Associates are responsible for stocking the sales floor. He/she will be responsible for organizing the backroom by processing shipping containers, verifying receipt of goods for the sales floor and moving merchandise from shipping containers to display cases, storage areas and the sales floor. Stock associates will also affix price tickets, tags and prepare merchandise for floor display. The position may operate material handling equipment and bending and lifting is required.
