Sales Associates

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing sales related duties while selling merchandise and products to individuals in a store showroom. Sales associate and SMITs shall maintain a high level of customer service at all times. Sales associates will work under the general direction of the store manager and in the absence of the store manager be able to operate the store in a manner consistent with company policy.



Essential Job Functions of Sales Associate:
Report to work 30 minutes before store opening and remain until nightly paperwork is completed.
Maintain accurate customer records
Maintain proficiency with the GERS computer system
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Assist store manager with new associate training
Accurately report all customers who enter the store
Assist in ordering and properly finalizing inventory
Assist in loading and unloading transfer and customer orders
Follow all company policies and procedures


Performance Standards:

Arrive an leave work at scheduled times
Handle all customer service issues at point of occurrence
Complete all daily paperwork, as it is due
Maintain company standard in:
Close ratio
Average ticket
Profit margin
Conduct store business with impeccable integrity
Participate in all company-sponsored training
Perform all job related duties with company mission and vision in mind
Demonstrate professional behavior at all times
Constantly self evaluate skills to insure success and identify training needs
Maintain a good working knowledge of Company Intra-Net
REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions. Must possess the ability and willingness to work and interact professionally with other personnel, vendors, and customers.

Compensation:
Compensation is based on performance after 90 days of product, customer service, and comprehensive sales training. Average annual salary is the $30,000 - $60,000 range.
