SERVICE SPECIALIST/NASHVILLE

Basic Function of the Job:

Internally services the customers by maintaining their inventory through performing record center tasks including retrievals, incoming, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals and any special projects requested. As needed, perform the function of Courier by performing the delivery and pick-up of Iron Mountain customer's media.

Scope of the Job:

-Responsible for executing services requested by the clients at Iron Mountain facilities within the district

-Individual and team responsibility for customer transactions
Work Performed:

-Process all incoming orders including, scanning carton barcodes And locations, storing items in record center, downloading scanned information, investigating and resolving all exceptions and, at times, closing the order.

-Process retrieval orders including pulling the items, verifying item, closing service order on Safekeeper, Manifesting all orders, bundling all orders and preparing for shipment to customer.

-Process all internal moves including pulling customer records from one location and storing it in another location, investigating all exceptions and closing all work orders in Safekeeper.

-Process all destructions including pulling required customer records, verifying it for accuracy, preparing it for cartage, investigating and resolving all exceptions and closing all work orders in Safekeeper.

-Research and resolve discrepancies encountered during above processes and communicate difficult issues or problems to manager.

-Prepare and process all record center paperwork necessary to accomplish the above processes.

-Inspect and maintain all equipment including, Telxon scanner, wedge, Safekeeper terminal, ladders, etc.

-Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues.

-Perform courier duties as assigned.

-Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for employment with Iron Mountain as a driver, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age 21 or older on the date of hire.

Possess a valid courier’s license to operate in the state of hire with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.

Submit to and pass a Background Investigation, including a Department of Motor Vehicle review.

Successful completion and results from a pre-employment drug screening examination is required before beginning work.

* Utilizing production tracking software for inputting and tracking of all media/container processing.

Qualified applicants will be computer proficient, able to communicate verbally with customers via telephone, and able to read and verify group of numbers continuously during their shift. In addition, they must understand the importance of detail and accuracy and be able to demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Our business may also require additional work on weekends and holidays based on our business requirements to serve our customers effectively.
