Retirement Education Specialist

SummaryRespond to participants’ questions and requests for information, process related mailing for Qualified and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans, and perform assigned range of clerical routines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Answer incoming telephone calls to client service call center

Assist participants with obtaining account information, placing trade request and assist with enrollments

Respond to caller questions by obtaining information from the appropriate person or system

Direct calls to designated area when necessary

Take and relay messages as required

Assist participants to change PIN numbers as requested.

Assist with participant questions related to the on-line investment advice engine and involve Investment Management if necessary

Prepare and mail activity confirmations to participant.

Respond to electronic participant inquiries and voicemails-

Required

Bachelor’s degree

2-3 years of Retirement Services industry experience

Series 6 and 63 licenses desired

Must be proficient with Microsoft suite of products

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
