The Retail Services Representative handles installations and upgrades for all hardware and software requirements for independent retail pharmacies. Also works closely with Retail Sales Team to increase customer loyalty, generate additional HBC sales and improve merchandising service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for set-up and training of Pharmlink ordering system, Bellco Online internet ordering system, Mobile PDAs, and CSOS for new customersWork closely with Retail Sales Manager to plan, schedule, and execute front-end labeling and merchandising programs of health & beauty aids, over-the-counter, vitamin, and private label products.
Offer additional product mix to customers tailored to their specific marketplace
Update and transmit via Goldmine CRM software with daily call activity
Advise Retail Sales Manager of weekly account schedule
80% of time to be in the field; remainder of time at corporate office
Advise customers of current trends and marketing events (i.e. Annual Trade Show).
Resolve daily technical and merchandising issues
Attend applicable pharmacy events
Complete special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Two plus years of merchandising experience.PC experience required including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.CRM software experience a plus.
Additional Requirements
Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 poundsValid drivers license, insurance and use of a car for daily sales duties
Ability to establish effective work methods/procedures
Ability to prioritize activities & follow a schedule to meet goals
Professional demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skillsEducation
High School Diploma, some college preferred.
