Retail Sales Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: Responsible for administrative functions related to servicing new and existing customer base. Primary point of contact for customer communications at the Sprint retail stores. This position will interview customers and record interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customers in warranty issues and exchanges.
Daily cash drawer balancing and reconciliation.
Ensure that all store inventories is processed in point-of-sale system.
Maintain control of assigned cash and cash drawer.
Process payments for service, equipment and accessory purchases.
Add-on sales at the time of purchase.
Activate all phones in billing system for Retail Sales Representatives.
Know the features and operations of phones and accessories.
Know service pricing and features offered by Sprint with ability to relate information to the customer.
Merchandise the store in the manner consistent with Sprint guidelines.
Solicits sale of new or additional service lines when presented with the opportunity.
Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
Balance many activities in an expeditious, accurate and courteous manner.
Customer problem resolution skills in service, billing and inventory.
General business knowledge and excellent organizational skills.
Make decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and the company.
Responsible for keeping up-to-date with current Sprint methods and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of the retail processes and possesses excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work with office machinery and personal computer skills.
Responsible for following, supporting and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Customer Service and/or experience in the wireless industry desired (but not required).
