Respite Worker - Part Time

Jewish Child and Family Services, is looking for Part-Time Respite Workers to work with children and adolescents with a variety of special needs. The respite worker is responsible for picking children up at their homes (primarily on the North side of the Chicago and North Suburbs of Chicago) and taking them out on recreational and educational activities throughout Chicago and suburbs. These activities are designed to enhance the child’s growth and development as well as provide a positive mentoring relationship. The result is to improve and/or maintain the child's ability to function in a variety of interpersonal situations including in the family, school, or community.

REQUIREMENTS
Do you have the desire to help children and need a flexible work location and schedule?We currently have placements available throughout the Chicago land area. The following are the requirements for our Part-time (up to 14.5 hours a week) Respite Worker Positions:
A genuine desire to help children
A flexible schedule; ability to work nights and weekends
High School diploma or GED
Must have car
