Relationship Manager -Federal
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: SalesResponsibilities: Relationship Management
Lead sales and marketing efforts to:
Develop and implement a Federal sales strategy for existing and prospective assigned relationships focused in the Ikon, Healthcare, CEF small ticket, Furniture and IT programs.
Meet or exceed annual budgeted volume, margin, profitability objectives and syndication fee income associated with the assigned programs.
Work closely with other commercial teams (US Dealer & US Programs) to drive the development and deliver of Federal Products.
Build and maintain relationships with all levels of vendor partner sales, marketing, finance and operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Documented track record of sales and marketing success in large ticket equipment leasing and finance.
Significant "Mining/Hunting" skills, complimented by ability to close deals.
Demonstrate complete compliment of requisite sales skills and characteristics including: Persistence, Effective Relationship Building, Personal Organization and Personal Time Management, Negotiation and Leadership.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Wide experience in sales presentations and proposal and contract negotiation.
Solid analytical capabilities, evaluating financial and business decision implications.
Highest level of personal and corporate integrity.
Self-starter, grounded in strong sales fundamentals.Desired: * Multi-functional equipment finance background in: Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Credit and Risk Management, Transaction Pricing and Structuring, Contract Documentation and Negotiation.
Knowledge of / experience with GE Commercial Finance / Capital Solutions and internal deal approval process
Experience working directly in Federal ProcurementGeneral: * Significant sales travel required.
