Relationship Manager - Acquirer Relations
Basic Function:
Develop and manage acquiring relationships to acquire merchant outlets through external sales channels. Assure that communication with processing partners is maintained to maximize production. Provide regular reporting of performance to ensure high quality outlets are secured to enhance overall activation. Address servicing issues as required. Communicate with internal support to ensure proper payments and reporting is maintained. Maintain awareness of industry issues and changes to assure company is able to respond and to minimize exposure.
Essential Functions1.Secure the target outlet goals through relationships with external acquirers and banks.
Secure contracts with acquirers in assigned territoryAssist in setup and testing as requiredMonitor production of assigned accountsAssist in training and establish goals2.Retain and expand existing merchant relationships by creating and implementing a tactical activation strategy to increase portfolio volume and revenue.
Review outlet production and account activationCommunicate program updates and changes to allow for minimal impactEvaluate and ensure that acquired outlets meet DN outlet requirementsAssist in resolving partner issues and disputes3.Represent DN within the acquirer industry to promote card acceptance
and increase awareness.
Attend partner meetings4. Support a mix of strategic partners by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.

7. Reports to IMS or UDA manager. Internal contacts include Operations, Marketing, Regional Business Development and Indirect Merchant Sales staff. External contacts include processors, acquirers, banks vendors, trade associations, independent sales organizations and other business-sponsored activities.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1.College degree or equivalent experience.
2.Minimum of 6 years sales experience in bankcard or payment industry preferred.
3.Experience with initiating and implementing marketing programs.
4.Computer skills and working knowledge of various software programs. (Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access are preferred.)
5.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6.Excellent planning and organizational skills.
7.Strong analytic and administrative skills.
8.Valid driver’s license and must meet corporate insurability requirements.
9.Must have access to a properly registered and inspected automobile.
10. Must meet physical location policy requirements of position.
