A 350 bed, level 2 trauma acute long term care facility is currently has RN needs, for a 13 week contract: Med/Surg 7:00a-7:00p and 7:00p-7:00a several positions.$26.00-34/hour housing paid/$40.00 without housing.

Job Description:
The RN collaborates with the patient, family, and health care team in the formulation of an individualized plan of care and overall outcome goals based on collected data and patients age specific needs. The RN works collaboratively to coordinate the delivery of care and is responsible for managing outcomes. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills, along with the understanding of principles of growth and development to provide appropriate care. Utilizes expertise in assuming the responsibilities for the nursing process for patients with common reoccuring problems on assigned unit. Implements the appropriate care path in order to meet the patient's physical, spiritual, and psycho-social needs for the patients assigned. RN acts as a clinical coach and coordinates care and staffing on the unit level.

REQUIREMENTS
The RN must have strong critical thinking, decision-making, communications, and interpersonal skills. You must be able to accurately assess a patient’s condition and needs, develop a solid strategy to care for that patient, and competently perform a wide range of high-level skills.

RN Requirements:
Atleast 1 year experience
Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in LA to which assigned and current CPR certification
Evidence of an accredited school of nursing
Able to perform physical requirements of job.
