GENERAL MANAGER- to [approximately] $105k ++

SUPERLATIVE OPPORTUNITY EXISTS WITH A MAJOR AND LEADING [SERVICE- RETAIL] MINI-STORAGE ORGANIZATION BASED IN NYC. THE CORPORATION IS A MASS ENTITY OF A MULTI- HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR 'PROPERTIES' COMPANY [WHICH INCLUDES PARKING, MINI-STORAGE, RETAIL CONCERNS].


SUMMARY: The company is seeking a dynamic, progressive, energetic individual to report directly to a VP. He/she will oversee approximately 8 locations, with 50 plus employees. The GM will manage complete operations/business oversight to include Administration/Staff Development, Financial Management, Human Resources, Customer Service, Overall Security, Appearances et al.


REQUIREMENTS: The company is seeking the ideal, progressive [senior] Manager with strong leadership /"coaching" ability, who is very much a "people person", and possesses strength in how to "fully service the customer".

THIS CANDIDATE MUST HAVE HAD *FULL* RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF MULTI-LOCATIONAL *RETAIL* EMPLOYEES AT HIGHER THAN THE 'STORE MANAGER' LEVEL.


Additional requirements include:

* Experience managing/directing in a " substantial,well-staffed" multi-locational RETAIL atmosphere.

* MUST have experience at a more 'senior' Manager [or above] level -or- 'senior' management of multiple locations [ie Territory Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, General Manager or similar 'multi-facility'level] ~ for example,`a Manager from a standard 'single store' environment will NOT not senior enough for this position, NOR will be someone who is a standard Store/Branch Manager type who might 'oversee' more than one location.

* Detail-oriented ; adept at problem-solving, decision making, "negotiating".

* "Business-minded" ~~ ever-mindful of the importance of operational/performance standards

* Financial experience ~~will have fiscal responsibility.


* Bachelors degree [highly] preferred ; MBA also a plus

Salary is to approximately $105k++.
