Our mission is to plan, evaluate and assess the needs of the residents of the two cities, and provide prevention, community education, treatment and rehabilitative services for the mentally ill, substance abusers and mentally retarded.We are currently looking for a
REGIONAL DEAF SERVICES COORDINATORThis Coordinator will initiate program development, assess service delivery needs, & coordinate services throughout the HPR-V Region. Provide evaluation, consultation, & as indicated, direct treatment including, group & family counseling, educational sessions, & discharge/aftercare planning for the deaf & hard of hearing clients.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Human Services with 3 years clinical experience in a clinical, hospital, or psychiatric care setting including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention & case management functions for persons who are deaf & hard of hearing. This position requires the ability to communicate verbally, a fluency in American Sign Language, traveling throughout the region, & will have flexible working hours.
