Recovery Collector

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: CollectionsResponsibilities: TO APPLY IMMEDIATELY PLEASE LOG ON TO www.gecallcentercareers.com.Make outbound telephone collection calls on consumer and/or business past due credit accounts
Receive inbound calls on consumer and/or business credit accounts
Primary responsibility is to determine reason for delinquency and negotiate payment arrangements by effectively listening and communicating with past due borrowers
Assist customers with various methods of payment
Utilize FDR/Vision + and RMS/London Bridge systems and predictive auto-dialer to perform daily functions
Manual queue collections as necessary
Locate customers by investigating all possible sources of information including Fast Data and Surveyor
Input on-Line memos as appropriate
Determine when account maintenance is warranted and make appropriate entries
Generate on line and/or word processing letters as appropriate
Adhere to established standards for productivity and quality
Adhere to established Compliance guidelines
Perform other related Collection activities as assigned by unit manager
Overtime hours as needed~hj~~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: -High School Diploma
Experience in Customer Service operations and/or collections or banking
Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and manage through conflict
Demonstrated superior customer service skills and commitment to quality excellence
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to effectively give and receive constructive feedback
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Superior time management skills and ability to meet standards (productivity and quality) in high demand environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Absolute Professional Integrity
Collections Experienced preferred
Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel and Access) preferred
