This position will manage contract labor involved in the re-pack of product. Responsible to insure product produced meets customer quality expectations. The Resource works closely with warehouse operations to insure a seamless flow of product in and out of the work in process (WIP). Maximize the true efficiency (TE) of both the Manual and Auto re-pack lines. Primary Accountabilities: Timely production coordination to the warehouse operations team. Regulatory compliance with both government and corporate policies. Management of third party contract in re-pack. Customer Service Updates. Adherence to good accounting principles, (purchasing policy, order billing, etc.) Development of subordinates and teams. Responsible for safe working conditions and environment. Monitor QA holds related to re-pack. Effectively manage planning and communication around product promotions. Ensure 100% compliance to Production Advices. Ensure product quality. Responsible for implementing autonomous maintenance for all equipment
REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Business or Logistics preferred, and/or 2 to 4 years related field experience. Manufacturing/Operations background a plus with prior management of an hourly workforce. A proven leader able to establish priorities, drive for results and communicates effectively. Working knowledge of warehouse systems and PC applications.
