Quality Systems Manager II

Maintaining the local aspect of our business continues to be an integral part of our success.
DESCRIPTION:The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of The Coca-Cola Company Quality System (TCCQS) for the organization along with ensuring continuous improvement in all facets of the manufacturing processRESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate the implementation of TCCQS in the facility(ies) assigned.
Train and assist departmental champions to utilize employee involvement in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to their respective job function.
Analyze processes and systems to create continuous process improvements.
Act as a resource and business partner on the methods used to conduct training and develop written documents / SOPs that meet the requirements of TCCQS.
Make all TCCQS documents available electronically to the necessary personnel within a facility, keeps all documents updated and ensures necessary plant personnel understand how to view files electronically.
Ensure that once the required SOP’s are written all appropriate personnel and management are sufficiently trained on the SOP’s.
Authorize all completed TCCQS documents (SOP’s, forms, etc.).
Train appropriate personnel regarding the process for performing internal process reviews and assisting in conducting internal process reviews.
Communicate the findings of internal process reviews and the Coca-Cola USA annual audit to the management staff of the facility and ensure that items of non-conformance discovered during an internal process review, during the annual Coca-Cola USA audit, or during the course of normal daily operations are addressed and corrected in a timely manner.
Create the implementation schedule for each facility and monitor adherence to agreed upon implementation goals and timelines.
Communicate with other Quality Systems Managers to share best practices.
Monitors resource allocation and tracks all costs of QA 2000.
Monitors all CCNA, CCE, and Federal/State communications/audits and manages and necessary systematic changes
Assists operations management through the refinement of processes and through budget development
Works with operations and sales management to improve all aspects and processes of business
Ensures the safety of all employees and provides a safe environment through procedural management
Assists in establishing, submitting, and balancing a yearly operations budget
Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
Previous management/supervisory experience or sufficient specialized experience and education required.
Familiarity with ISO, TCCQS, TQM, SPC, and Process Improvement concepts
Strong observational and problem-solving skills (process/system/global thinking)
Strong PC systems and software application skills
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with various deadlines
