Our client focuses its business on the manufacture of innovative products in key surgical specialty areas. We are pleased to be able to present this exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a lead role as a Customer Quality Assurance Specialist -Adverse Events / Product Vigilance

Description:

This position reports to the Field Assurance Quality Manager

· Functioning as the primary contact for Surgical Customers and Sales Representatives registering confidential complaints and/or product dissatisfaction. Receiving, answering and documenting customer complaints, telephone or written, on all Surgical products and entering complaint information as required into the computer system.

· Assures accurate completion of the appropriate forms for recording and evaluating the complaints and initiating product replacements using MFG/PRO computer software system and/or determined if credits or refunds are justified.

· Preparing preliminary trend analysis.

· Compiling complaint acknowledgement letters to the customer as appropriate.

· Functioning as an internal contact between Customer Quality, Sales Representatives and Customer Service Department including return of product for evaluation..

· Preparing MDR and vigilance determinations.

· Assist in compiling monthly reports and special reports utilizing computer summaries including guidelines regarding trends and corrective actions.

Supervisory skills desirable as strong career growth potential

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering / Science.

· Excellent oral and written communications as well as leadership skills.

· Solid computer skills to include Word, Excel and database management.

· Three to five years experience Quality in medical device environment with Complaint Handling, MDR experience.

· Experience with bio-hazard management/contamination control preferred.

· Knowledge of MFG/Pro inventory management system desired.
