Program Specialist

Purpose:
The role of the program specialist is to coordinate and process all requests received from patients, physicians, other health care professionals, payers, manufacturer representatives, etc. These requests may include any and/or all of the before-mentioned services. Here are the essential functions of the
job-Registration of insurance candidates, verifying insurance eligibility, order approval, billing, medical information, claims tracking and general inquiries. Must have 1+ years experience and knowledge with public/private health care and pharmacy reimbursement systems, and 1+ years experience in customer service, billing, collections and/or telephonic service delivery.Classification:ContractCompensation:
