Contech is seeking a Production PlannerJob Duties
·Supervision for hourly production personnel on off-shifts.
·Must have a flexible work schedule
·Plans daily work schedule for hourly production personnel.
·Plans daily loading schedules on trucks. Prepares loading combinations for shipping of finished products.
·Performs required quality checks on all products being manufactured on off-shifts.
·Performs required loading & shipping control checks.
·Receives customer orders, checks credit, assigns plant order number, verfies that all extensions and other pertinent information necessary to prepare acknowledgement is available and accurate, completes form & distributes.
·Prepares bills of lading, correlates bills with packing list, checking for duplications or shortages of quantities shipped against original order, prepares state certifications if required.
·Prepares invoices by verifying that all material is accurately recorded and calculated and checking the order for special freight charges, customers requests & order changes.
·Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Related degree and 2-3 years' experience.Knowledge of loading and shipping procedures.Knowledge of plant labor contract or shop policies.Knowledge of inventory control.Ability to read shop drawings.Good oral and written communication skills.To apply please send resume to [Click here for email]
