DESCRIPTION:The Procurement Specialist is responsible for implementing North America and national procurement programs. Takes direction from the Director of Procurement or Procurement Managers and works closely with CCE/CCBSS Commodity Managers and CCBSS Member Companies to:
1.Generate program requirements that meet Member Companies’ needs.
2.Ensure robust service level requirements are in place.
3.Implement programs and resolve post-implementation supplier issues.
4.Negotiate corporate sourcing contracts.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Member companies to understand Program requirements.

Work with Member Companies Commodity Managers to aggregate and translate Member Companies’ requirements into CCBSS supplier program and service level requirements.

Implement programs for CCBSS Member companies.

Resolve supplier issues related to national programs for Member Companies.

Escalate unresolved supplier or implementation issues.

Negotiate corporate contracts. Objective

Position is responsible for providing analytical support of multi-billion dollar spend in Commodities Procurement Team for three Procurement Directors: Sales and Marketing Equipment & Parts; PET Resins & Bottles; and Ingredients (Sweeteners & CO2). Included in this function is developing and improving information gathering processes as well as database design and systems development to provide CCBSS and CCE reporting, tracking, monitoring, bid analysis, savings modeling and rebate calculations. The position will also facilitate the E-procurement initiative within the respective areas, and support contract database and Supplier Relationship Management initiatives.


Primary Responsibility

Develops implements, maintains and audits databases and reporting systems to monitor and track performance toward annual purchasing goals for CCBSS and CCE. Included are databases for company-wide suppliers by commodity in support of respective areas; spend/ budget/ forecasting/ cost modeling as analytical tools; participant members for communications and information extraction.


Maintain and enhance databases for suppliers’ spend reporting. Including, but not limited to queries and data extractions from third party systems, forecasting, score carding and websites. Document communications and meetings with CCBSS, CCE or suppliers regarding system updates, redesign of current processes and systems for future conversion to new applications. Develop knowledge base within SME, PET & Ingredients in the following applications: SAP, E-Procurement, Picasso, Access, Crystal Reports, and Procurement Gateway in order to direct conversion to these systems. Work with senior managers and regional managers to detail purchasing spend status. Create ad hoc reporting to meet executive management requests. Review reports or other documents to identify problems, develop new models and methods to provide solutions to problems and leverage opportunities. Design and generate spend results reporting including financial analysis, competitive analysis and prepare formal presentations depicting monthly and year-to-date results utilizing SAP, CEPG System Spend and related applications. Together with the respective Directors, design and generate monthly and ad hoc KBI spend reports for commodity, group, managers and executives of CCBSS and CCE. Perform other assignments upon request.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience required.

MBA preferred.

Minimum 3 years in related field required.

Five to eight years of experience in a related field. Functional experience in a corporate environment preferred.
