Priority Services Specialist - Roch

The Priority Services Specialist is part of the School Services team and addresses calls and correspondence from customers with regards to student loans. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Addressing daily inbound calls from customers as it relates to student loans. Maintains Priority Services/School Satisfaction within the designated benchmarks and guidelines.

Maintain work flow consistent with expectations regarding accuracy of information, attention to detail, timely correspondence with customer as well as internal support and the various processes.

Adhere to standards and guidelines as communicated in on-going training for all Priority Services applications and processes, demonstrate ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly to Priority Services applications and processes.

Support Account Managers and school customers as the point of contact resolving or escalating issues and correspondence.

Strict adherence to all policies, procedures, documentation and schedules. Maintains accurate documentation of customer related actions as well as work schedule, vacation, personal and sick time

Contributes to team performance by assisting other team members in work flow, offers suggestions for process improvement, and actively supports other units within department as needed.

Demonstrated knowledge of financial aid processes
REQUIREMENTS








Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Window based programs, proficient in our systems: Diploma, SalesLogix, and Appworks.

Ability to Multi-task and follow through

Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Problem solving skills, along with organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

High school diploma plus 3-5 years of progressive experience in business or equivalent combination of education and experience; prefer experience in educational lending.
