Prepared Foods Hot Bar and Counter

Provide our customers with outstanding customer service. Ensures a fresh and appealing case by checking codes, rotating products and removing out-of-date products. Maintains correct department signage and pricing. Weighs, prices and packages customer selections. Answers customer questions and practices suggestive selling. Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing. Follows and complies with all applicable health, sanitation and safe work procedures. Operates and sanitizes all Prepared Foods equipment in a safe and proper manner. Performs other duties as assigned by the Prepared Foods TL, ATL or Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Able to work all closing shifts. A desire to learn and grow within the Prepared Foods Team. The ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a sense of urgency. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Knowledgeably communicate the product line to the customer. Ability to understand customers’ needs. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership. Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness and to check signage and labeling for accurate pricing. Able to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and able to push and pull carts with product weighing up to 100 pounds.
