DESCRIPTION:Manage Standard Reporting development, distribution, and presentation for the Business Unit. Coordinate the development and presentation of the Business Unit Operating Plan. Responsible for content and design of financial presentation material. Key contact on financial planning and standard reporting issues. Accountable for the design and maintenance of the Business Unit financial web page. Build and develop subordinates by providing financial leadership. Manage process which will provide financial and analytical support for customers (Business Unit management team). Develop best practices in the Operating Plan and Standard Reporting process to be shared with the company.RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy
Provide strategic input on development, distribution, maintenance and presentation of Standard Reports used by BU leadership team.
Provide input and analysis around strategic development of an integrated top to bottom business plan with the BU Leadership team, Rollout of BU goals and targets; validate Area plans and aggregate to BU plan.
Review and analyze financial operating results and forecast. Participate in meetings to report financial results and forecast emphasizing OI, Gross Profit, and OPEX. Make recommendations to increase OI with emphasis on OPEX.Execution
Responsible for development of tools and processes used to complete and consolidate BU Operating Plan.
Coordinator of region weekly and yearly forecast(s)- (TROY) and preparer of weekly updates around OPEX / Forecast.
Responsible for the development, preparation and interpretation of key business indicators, including standard reporting to provide management reports that facilitate timely, accurate and impactive decisions.
Coordinate the Business Unit Operating Plan (inc. Business Unit Admin) by communicating and implementing corporate direction and ensuring compliance at the Profit Center level.
Provide support on planning and analysis for Sales, Revenue Management, Areas, and Branches, on a timely basis. Ensures that such information is consistent with business unit and area direction, as well as complies with cost containment objectives.
Ensure Business Unit presentation material is prepared in a timely and accurate manner, using available company technology to ensure a professional quality product.Building Capabilities
Mentor and coach direct reports ensuring success in their roles to support the financial needs of the business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
MBA preferred.
Five (5) plus years related business experience, with three years in a supervisory capacity required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)required.
Soft drink industry experience preferred.
Three (3) plus years experience in business planning and analysis preferred.
Experience in preparing financial information for use by non-financial managers preferred.
Understanding of GAAP, legal requirements, and company policies and procedures.
Demonstrated understanding of SAP, WSR, Margin Minder, and OPEX Planning tool, SC budget, PAZ model, and TRbudget (preferred)
Understanding of technology software impacting day to day business operations as well as information systems.
Understanding of the Company’s philosophy of growing economic profit and how to allocate and reallocate company assets in a manner consistent with that philosophy.
CPA preferred.
Must be willing to travel 10 – 20%.
