Department: Patient AccessSchedule: Full-timeShift: Day shiftHours: 8:00 to 4:30Job Details: High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Experience in customer service is required. - Collections experience is preferred. - Must be detail oriented with excellent communication and customer service skills.Works under the supervision of the Lead Patient Account Rep. Supports admissions clerks throughout the collections at time of service process. Assists patients in person and on the phone with financial arrangements and financial counseling. Works with patients upon discharge as well as on the floor. Refers patients appropriately to CBA and MASH. Receives monies remitted to the hospital. Balances all cash receipts and prepares bank deposit. Insures financial settlement of hospital accounts and has proper billing information recorded. Responsible for inquiries and inputs into computerized patient registration and accounting system.
