Patient Account Representative

Patient Account Representative: Working in a multi task environment with Pathology patient accounts.

You will be responsible for the follow-up and collections of the accounts. Working with insurance companies and patients.

Essential job functions include, interpreting EOBs for the purpose of verifying accuracy of insurance payer payments, adjustments and denials. Initiating appeals, skip tracing, intake of incoming phone calls and initiating outgoing calls to payers, patients, facilities and all applicable parties.

You will have the opportunity to learn other responsibilities as they relate to the Pathology-billing industry.

This group of physicians is one of the largest in the state. The physicians practice at all Banner hospitals, Phoenix Baptist, Arrowhead, Paradise Valley and many other hospitals in Arizona.

We are located at a great location in the Deer Valley area, I17 and Loop 101.

REQUIREMENTS
Prior Medical Billing experience is helpful. Team Player and dependable. Candidates who are self starters, initiative and patient friendly will be given priority.

1.Knowledge and experience with medical EOB's.

2.10 Key by touch.

3.Experience with contacting facilities, patients and insurance companies.

4.Exceptional dependability record.

5.Team player and self-starter.

6.Good written and verbal communication skills.

7.Ability to follow HIPAA and written office protocol.

8. Must be PC oriented.
