Participant Services Representative Part time - Mercer HR

A Participant Services Specialist in the outsourcing practice provides 401(k) benefits information to plan participants. To fulfill this role, the Specialist will:Answer questions from participants of our 401(k) plans in a service center environment Complete participants' requested transactions Process participant initial elections and changes to ensure paperwork is complete and accurate REQUIREMENTS
College degree with previous customer service and/or equivalent industry experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Proven problem solving and analytical skills; ability to research, follow up and resolve issues
Ability to thoroughly understand and carry out written or oral instructions in a time sensitive environment
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure participant expectations are consistently met.

Part time Hours are 10am to 2pm, 5pm-10pm or 6pm-10pm
*Must be able to attend full time training (Hours 8am-5pm for 2 weeks) The next training class will be 10/16/06.
