Part Time - Online Community Moderator

ITtoolbox is seeking a User Services Lead for our online community, joining our team in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The ITtoolbox network is an online information tool used by millions of IT and business professionals as a part of their daily jobs. These professionals depend on the efforts of ITtoolbox team members to be more productive on the job.

As the User Services Lead, you will be responsible for responding to and addressing subscriber questions and issues within our online community. You will be providing assistance to an international audience of technical and business users via e-mail communications. Secondary responsibilities include weekend and some holiday coverage moderating community content, ensuring flow of messages within ITtoolbox’s 700+ discussion groups.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage User AccountsAssist with posting and subscription issues.Provide additional customer assistance via e-mail as needed.Maintain High-Quality User ExperienceCultivate positive relationships with users.Maximize response rate by effectively administering moderation polices.Moderation shifts covering Weekends/HolidaysMaintain quick message turnaround time.Monitor message delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.2 years customer service/management experience. Outstanding communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.A strong desire to learn and excel. High motivation.Strong teamwork skills.The following traits are preferred, but not required.Prior experience with discussion groups/online communities.A familiarity with the IT industry.
