Packaging Warehouse Attendant

Performs all receiving and warehouse functions in the Packaging area including maintaining the Packaging WIP storage areas and verifying that the appropriate labeling and components are brought to the Packaging lines for day’s operations.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for making sure that the needed materials (product, components, and labeling) have been delivered to the Packaging lines in a timely matter so that effective flow of production is maintained including the department’s processing supplies. Return all FGQ products from the Packaging lines to the appropriate WIP storage area.
* Maintains and ensures accurate inventory records for products stored in WIP and processing components and resolves any discrepancies. Care and attention required in handling and moving materials and checking and verifying product identification numbers.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with all cGMPs and SOP's (Performs daily checks of forklifts prior to their use and operates forklift in a safe Manner and pulls all materials in FIFO order).
* Verify monitoring charts for refrigerated product before transferring them to or from production lines to the walk in refrigerators.
* Work in other areas of Packaging as required (i.e. hand packing, kit assembly, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Minimum required experience, education, skills, knowledge and training:
* High school education or equivalent.
* Intermediate math aptitude.
* Intermediate verbal skills.
* Basic knowledge of computers and inventory control systems..
* Forklift certification and safety conscious.
* Must be organized and have basic writing skills.
* Must be detail oriented and have intermediate problem solving skills.

Preferred experience, education, skills, knowledge and training:
* Two years of warehouse experience including inventory control systems.
