The Detroit office of PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Private Company Services Assurance practice. You will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of top-tier clients. The challenge will be to continually develop new ways to help these clients solve their ever increasing complex business problems in an ever increasing and changing global environment. You will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing the PricewaterhouseCoopers' practice methodology. This will include risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, methods to enhance operations, shareholder value and focused reviews of information systems. You will be responsible for conveying solutions to our client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and presentations. The opportunity will be available for you to develop your responsibility in supervising, coaching, developing and leading teams and individual team members.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BS/B.A. in AccountingEssential Requirements:
-6 years of Public Accounting experience. CPA Preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Team player. Strong coaching/mentoring skills. Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mind set. A flexible, self-starter possessing an inherent intellectual curiosity. The ability to interact with all levels of client and firm management. 20-30% travel.
