Outside Sales Representative-HVAC Service- Maine/Southern New
Honeywell is a $30 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with control technologies for buildings, home and industry. Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) installs and maintains the systems that help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient. HBS services critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, building automation, fire, security and energy management.
Excellent opportunity to sell Honeywell HVAC services to mid-size and large businesses in the Maine / New Hampshire Area. The primary responsibility will be to successfully sell Honeywell products, services, and maintenance contracts to commercial accounts (schools, hospitals, office buildings, industrial facilities). Responsible for developing business plans and meeting overall financial objectives. Also be responsible for interfacing with, and calling on, all levels of management.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Sales of Honeywell's service and maintenance offerings for HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) controls, Mechanical Maintenance, Fire Alarm and Security Systems.
Utilizes a consultative sales approach to upgrade and enhance the customer's current facility infrastructure.
Identifying, targeting, and qualifying new customers to continually increase the base of service customers.
Cold and warm calls
Achievement of the Sales Team's account management goals by calling on existing contract customers to review HBS performance and ensure customer requirements are met.
Actively uses financial selling skills model to show potential customers the benefit of Honeywell's maintenance value.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
3+ years of direct sales experience
Additional Qualifications:
Technical application experience with HVAC, Fire Alarm or Security Systems preferred but not required.
Experience dealing with owners, consultants and contractors for mechanical and HVAC systems.
Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans.
Technical application experience with HVAC Controls, fire alarm, security, and mechanical systems highly desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating and closing skills.
Must have experience cold-calling
Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background and drug screening investigation
Must be able to deliver on annual quota.
