Operations Support Technician- 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Operations Support Technician in our New York office to provide support to our European Trading Support partners as well as managing and maintaining market data distribution and order management systems.
2nd shift- 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Positions Details:
•Troubleshoot end-to-end functionality of proprietary live streaming data systems.
•Some support of proprietary front-end software.
•Support external vendor and customer connections.
REQUIREMENTS
Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Answer support phone calls from European Support partners and assist in troubleshooting data issues and system functionality.
•Continuous surveillance of hardware and software monitoring systems. Investigate all errors, troubleshoot and repair issues.
•Log outages and issues in outage notification system.
•Execute workorders for proprietary software upgrades.
•Execute workorders for server installation and other data center maintenance.
•Execute workorders for server hardware maintenance/upgrades.
•Installation, configuration and administration of Operating Systems on large number of servers.
•Perform morning startup procedures for Broker/Dealers.
•Support order entry related issues for Broker/Dealers.
•Complete functionality verification checklists as scheduled.
•Perform shift hand-off procedures.
