Operations Manager - PARC

Block by Block, a division of Brantley Services is seeking a highly motivated and organized person to provide daily operational management for parking operations in downtown Louisville. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assessing and prioritizing needs; developing work plans; human resources; staff management; payroll reporting; generating progress, activity, and operating reports. Applicants must possess initiative, responsibility, strong integrity and leadership skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Manager position is responsible for managing personnel at our PARC account in Louisville, KY. Strong leadership and administrative skills are required to oversee this vital operation.

Duties include, but not limited to, overseeing all work performed, working closely with the customer, city departments, and the corporate office implementing new strategies; providing direction and development of personnel; and development and implementation of innovative programs; recruitment, selection, and training of all personnel; deploying resources in accordance with service agreement; managing resources within established budget; developing operational and training manuals; creating good will by interacting with employees, residents, workers, and visitors. Excellent administrative skills coupled with strong computer skills preferred.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in parking or transportation industry; verifiable work experience; possess good understanding of sound human resource applications related to selection, training, coaching, and termination; clear understanding of customer service and the impact on ensuring positive outcomes with staff interacting with employees and patrons; effective written and verbal communication skills; PC literacy is necessary (MS Office); goal oriented; ability to work independently and be a team player; enjoy working in a high energy, results-oriented environment; pass a thorough background investigation, to include drug screen. Ideal candidate will have prior management experience in parking structure supervision. Those with retail management experience are encouraged to apply.
