Account Representative

North Shore Gas in Waukegan, a subsidiary of People Energy is seeking Account Representatives to effectively provide full customer support by answering inbound customer inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for answering all inbound customer calls on a timely basis according to company procedures and policies
Handle high volume customer inquiries including payment arrangements, scheduling home service calls, meter reading appointments, and responding to emergencies
Effectively respond to customers regarding their billing questions
Effectively complete or assist on any special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; some college highly desired
Minimum of 2 years call center or customer service experience
Must be able to work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday with fluctuating shifts, and overtime as needed
Maintain an acceptable attendance record
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional etiquette on the phone and in person
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly desired
