New Relationship Specialist:
I)Provide a full range of banking services to individual customers, with emphasis on personal financial counseling, lending, and customer service.II) Major Areas of AccountabilityA. Meet with customers to discuss personal financial needs and recommends ways in which TCF can serve their needs.B. Promote, sell and provide information to new and prospective customers; opens new accounts, provides information regarding interest rates, account charges, and answers questions concerning accounts, loans, statements, etc. Performs all other services required of a BSR while adhering to TCF and Federal regulations.C. Interview and accept all consumer loan applications obtaining financial information and purpose of the loan.D. Solicit interest in new TCF products and services and maintain a high level of customer service. Cross-sell TCF products, programs, and services such as consumer, commercial, small business accounts; promote TCF as full-service bank; meet targeted cross-sell/product referral goals. Participate in telemarketing and direct mail promotional programs.E. Complete assigned training on a timely basis and demonstrate good working knowledge of TCF Policy and Procedures following training.F. Develop a good working knowledge of all consumer regulations, including: Regulations B, G, and Z, Uniform Commercial Code, FHLBB, FSLIC and State Statutes.G. Share responsibility for attaining branch sales goals with the management team. Complete all assigned projects within prescribed timeframe. Initiate sales to ensure achievement of targeted production goals.III) Minimum QualificationsEducationRequired:High School education or equivalentPreferred:Four year college degreeWork ExperienceRequired:12+ months banking experience working directly with customers, opening accounts and/or taking loan applications.
Proven sales record.
Ability to promote positive image of TCF
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational skills.
PC literate
