Key Responsibilities: - Helpdesk responsibilities including entering tickets and maintaining a problem tracking system. - Log, track, prioritize, and follow-up on requests for assistance. - Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware/software problems for end users. - Perform Desktop PC/Server configuration, setup, and maintenance. - Install and maintain computer hardware/software and network connections. - Inventory tracking. - Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Perform related work as required or as delegated.

M/F/D/VJob RequirementsCritical Technical & Behavioral Skills/Qualifications: : Associates degree (2 year) in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT environment is desirable. A++ Certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and/or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) would be beneficial. - Experience in performing facility network installations. - Knowledge of Microsoft Network Administration, including MS Windows 2000/XP and 2000/2003 Server, MS Office XP/2003 applications, LAN/WAN networking topology, USAF policies and procedures, software life cycle engineering processes, system development life cycle concepts, helpdesk processes, and industry best practices. - Knowledge of network bridging, switching, and routing equipment configuration. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving skills, being prompt and courteous, and also the ability to work independently and in a team environment are necessary. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI security clearance. - Have the ability to travel and spend overnight(s) at field locations in support of the Nellis range. - Work is performed in both a field (in occasional extreme weather conditions) and an office environment. The position requires walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 pounds, and occasional overnight support. - Must have a valid Nevada Drivers License.
