The Kitsap Sun has an immediate opening for a Full-time Single Copy Merchandiser. This position will be responsible for securing and monitoring single copy accounts to maximize sales and will communicate with store clerks to ensure accurate accounts. The primary responsibilities of this position will require working in the field visiting store and rack locations, distributing promotional material and auditing distribution of dail and non daily publications.


The ideal candidate will offer a high school diploma, two years of sales/customer service, preferably in retail or outside "cold call" environment and strong project management skills. In addition, the candidate shall possess good computer and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively hand multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to thrive and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, able to frequently lift 40 pounds and work varied hours including weekends and holidays, as needed, is required.
