Member Service Representative

Responsibilities Include: Responding to incoming calls from members and providers including explaining benefits, eligibility, and assists members with Primary Care Provider selections. The successful candidate can research questions, problems, and correspondence and provide the best solutions available. May occasionally make outgoing calls to welcome new members and survey current members.

Job Requirements


REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent. Need minimum 1-year customer service and/or claims processing experience. Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Experience using windows based applications and MS Office products or other comparable software is needed PREFERRED: Knowledge of Medical terminology and CPT / ICD-9 coding. Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, or Russian speaking) candidates preferred.
