Medical Services Coordinator

Provides medical input/perspective and applies project management skills to coordinate data gathering and writing activities for scheduled global regulatory reports (PSURs) for marketed Abbott pharmaceutical products. Follows prescribed processes within the quality system for generating reports and analysis/presentation of data. This includes participating in data collection, database searching, analysis, medical writing, report preparation, case correction, and presentation of analysis. Data for analysis is generated from the adverse event database (AEGIS). Acts a liaison and facilitator with multiple stakeholders to produce high quality, logical and medically accurate reports. Position interacts with the postmarketing safety, clinical safety and and Global Surveillance/Pharmacoepidemiology groups within the Global Pharmacovigilance; clinical teams, regulatory affairs and affiliates. Maybe filled with at a G16 if candidate has significant past pharmacovigilance or related experience.Qualifications
Proven ability to organize, prioritize and facilitate in order to achieve timely delivery on multiple projects on an ongoing basis. Proficiency with MS Office suites and writing proficency is required. Knowledege of clinical and postmarketing adverse event reporting is desirable. Two years of clinical experience is strongly desired.
Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy (or PharmD), Nursing or healthcare related field is preferred. Candidates lacking the preferred degree but with previous pharma experience may be considered.

REQUIREMENTS
Knoweldge of clinical and postmarketing adverse event reporting strong preferred. Solid writing skills necessary.
