Ensure that expenses are controlled on a daily basis. Ensure that physical inventory is properly planned and executed. Identify promotional and advertising opportunities to increase store visibility in trading area. Maintain high standard according to the division guidelines. Ensure that selling floor is replenished on a daily basis to maximize volume. Keep displays current by changing monthly, maintain a fresh supply of inventory by initiating markdowns on slow sell inventory items. Physical requirements to lift fixture parts and cartons weighing up to 40 pounds. Recruit, train and develop staff to maximize level of customer service. Submit required reports - month end, receiving etc. on a timely basis. Complete necessary accounting functions - bank deposits, store funds, petty cash, etc. to ensure financial integrity. REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for total operation of the outlet store. Maximizing sales volume, maintaining gross margin goals, managing inventory and controlling expenses through creative merchandising and operational efficiency. Limited travel (5%). Required to work 2 out of 3 Saturdays and 1 out of every 3 Sundays. Also required to close store 2 nights per week. Need Associates Degree or 2-4 years retail management experience.
