Manager, Field Support (Desktop/LAN)

Functional Area: US TechnologiesPosition Description: This position will support and implement desktop technology in support of business projects. This includes managing the support of all LAN technology infrastructures across the enterprise.

Union: NoEducation: Technical DegreeExperience: 5 - 7 YearsPosition Requirements: 5+ years experience in leading large teams and complex projects that implement new technology
Ability to reduce technology costs while supporting a large desktop install base by reducing repair times, implementing new deployment process, and managing suppliers.
Technical architecture design and leadership to deploy current cost effective solutions
Experience with airline business processes and how technology will be implemented to service passengers
Ability to manage complex projects that involve hardware rollouts: desktop operating systems, Office, and Email upgrades
Experience with Microsoft licensing and product implementations
Knowledge of supply management - the US Airways order process and delivery process
Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
