Manager, Application Support

We are looking for a Manager, Application Support in our Corporate MIS department in Scottsdale, AZ. Allied Waste is a Fortune 500 company and the second largest non-hazardous solid waste company in the United States providing collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services to approximately ten million residential, commercial and industrial customers. Representative Responsibilities
Manages daily operations of Allied Waste's National Accounts applications.
Supervises day-to-day activities of programmers and business analysts related to daily operations.
Consults with Allied Waste National Accounts user community regarding enhancements and use of National Accounts applications.
Prepares and/or assists with the preparation of project plans.
Manages related on-going projects to ensure they meet all needs and timetables.
Teaches, trains, mentors, and coaches support personnel to improve productivity, increase strengths and ensure skill redundancy.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND 5 years previous experience as an Information Systems Manager.
Demonstrated Billing, AR, CRM or Financial Systems knowledge required.
Project management, product development and implementation experience required.
MS Office including Word, Excel and Project skills required.
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the internal organization.
Strong analytical skills and creative thinking abilities required.
Demonstrated ability to deal with rapid change required.
Proven problem solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Infinium Accounts Receivable System experience or equivalent AS/400 financial software.
Familiarity with AS/400 development tools and languages.
Waste industry experience.
