Level II Network Engineer and Help Desk Support

Provide ongoing onsite and remote technical support to a variety of clients and network environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent quality oriented customer service, communication, teamwork and multi-tasking skills, a high level of technical expertise, discipline to organize and prioritize tasks, and function under high pressure situations.
Hours are full-time Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours and on call support may be required before or after normal business hours and on Saturdays/Sundays dependent upon client needs. Position is primarily located Nevada but will require periodic travel to other states for client support. REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
*Install, Configure,Troubleshoot and resolve all hardware issues on workstations, servers, laptops, printers, scanners, network faxing, hand-held devices, routers, switches and wireless connectivity issues via phone and onsite support
*Troubleshoot and resolve software issues for a variety of software applications and operating systems (primarily Microsoft Operating Systems)
*Constant communication with clients regarding their issues, resolutions and time frames*Perform preventative maintenance on clients’ servers and workstations
*Provide daily clear and concise documentation of all problems and resolutions in “help desk” software
*Support management and co-workers, attend and participate in staff meetings and training
*Perform additional tasks as necessary*Perform all job tasks in accordance with company policies, procedures and performance measuresRequired Technical Skills:
*Working Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Professional, Microsoft XP Professional, Microsoft Windows 2003, Small Business Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Administration, Microsoft Back Office, Active Directory and Group Policy Configuration*Working knowledge of IP addressing protocols, LAN and Wan configurations
*Firewall Security (Hardware)
*VPN, Remote Access and Terminal Server configuration and support
*Minimum 2 years Network configuration and support experience supported by job history on resume
*Minimum 2 years Hardware and software support experience supported by job history on resume
*Minimum 2 years experience with Cisco or other Router configuration supported by job history on resume
*Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Office Products knowledge and support including Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
*Minimum 2 years end user support (experience must include both phone and onsite support)
*High School Diploma and some college or technical school training in Information TechnologyAdditional Skills Required:
*Strong Ability to interact with clients in a professional, friendly, positive and honest manner
*Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
*Quality Oriented with attention to detail and ability to analyze information accurately
*Proven writing and documentation skills
*Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
*Ability to multi-task with attention to detail*Ability to work under pressure
*Respect and abide company rules, regulations and policies of ISD and all Clients
*Utilize continuing education, classes and seminars to stay up to date and educated in the constantly changing technological environment
